How nice it's to be together and keep ourselves connected, internally in touch, being in Satsang, actually coming back to what we really are. It is natural to happen a change, a change in how we approach in this so-called life, our approach to life is an approximation of what is happening on the top of what we believe to be life itself. So, we don't have a life, we have a picture of life, our scenario. The skyline we're seeing is what the mind is creating.
At these meetings you're invited to disappear, this disappearance is the disappearance of this supposed life, of this imaginary approach, of this imaginary existence. Of this imaginary I, of that imaginary person, it's where this immaginary life is happening, and when you get closer to Satsang, in the very beginning it's so scary, you're living for so long, a long time inside a darkroom, and in this investigation about what in fact is reality, is true, it's like you're getting in touch for the first time with something outside this darkroom, with this light outside. The mind is a prison, a dark cell, inside the mind you're alienated, unconscious of yourself, of this reality of your true self, of your natural state of being. That means unconsciousness, automatism, mechanicity, separativity, the sense of a contraction of a present identity, which is basically this movement of this entity, conflict, grief, inadequacy, what is not real faking to be real, this sense of me, that someone present. Your real nature is your real essential nature, it is the ultimate reality overlaying that reality. We get the mind movement, chaotic, conflicted, unconscious, all this confidence as we had always said, all this confidence we had given to this movement, creates this entity, that creates the imagination of someone present and that is the life inside the darkroom.
This supposed identity with its greed, envy, desires, wishes, fears, many fears, countless misery, the misery of separation, the misery of fear, there's no reality on it, or the reality of this is only a reality of an apparition, of an imagination, during a long long time we have been asserting this supposed identity through beliefs, asserting through suffering, that this sense of separation produces, now you come to Satsang and I invite you to listen to this time and the next one, and next, you listen to basically the same, it's necessary that hypnosis is broken, it means not only the end of the beliefs, but the end of this contraction inside this mechanism, this assumed identity, which doesn't consist of beliefs alone, ideologies, superstitions, concepts, experiences accumulation, memories, it's also something more solid, more experiential, it's a contraction in this mechanism, it permeates this body-mind, all memory of feelings, emotions and sensations, it's enhanced not only by those beliefs, superstitions, conclusions, paradigms and everything else, but besides it confirms it all, it maintains this refereeing, all this is pure unconsciousness.
We lack this self-inquiry, or this investigation about ourselves, not only the mental aspect of this research, but this physiological, biological, such mechanics, the mechanics of the self, the mechanics of this supposed separate identity, this aspect is only possible in this action of the Grace, this action of the Presence, this action of God, of the Presence, it is possible to wake up by the Grace, an awakening to this, an awakening to who we are, to our real identity, this real identity is no longer a contraction in this body-mind mechanism, it is beyond mechanics, it is beyond memory, focused on this mechanism, in this body, that´s why we have said that the awakening is the realization out of this programming order, this memory in this mechanism, this body-mind. In India they call it the end of the vasanas, vasanas are these trends within the mechanism, this body-mind, this strong and irresistible attraction, unconscious and mechanical, this automatic reply to this unconsciousness.
At the reasons on which you approach to the real self-inquiry that is meditation itself, meditation is only possible in real self-inquiry, self-inquiry is meditation, meditation is surrender, surrender to the reality of Being, this consciousness, this Presence, this Grace in the reason in which it happens, this body-mind mechanism starts working in a totally different way, begins to have new answers to this conditioning, this programming into the memory, all this is by the Grace alone, you don't do anything, you only be silent and it happens, as now here in Satsang. You need to find out what is being silent, which is to remain in non-resistance, this means surrender, delivery to this Presence, to this moment of Grace, a moment of this liberation.
Everything that happens in Satsang is meditation, meditation is the natural state, which is Grace, you have been trying during a long time, through different methods, rituals, cerimonies, practices, readings and everything else, now I invite you in Satsang only to be together, in this heart, in the heart of the Grace, in only one hearing, in only one glance, without resistance.., without discussing what it is, notice that no opinion is placed, no conclusion can be drawn a speech like this, there is nothing being said at all, that is being talked about, nothing you can capture and transform in a system, a new belief system, a new belief, we have enough beliefs, so we only keep in this instant, in this moment with this Presence, which is Grace, who is Being, which is Silence, we discover what is letting loose the sense of someone opining, judging, comparing, intellectually accepting or rejecting what is being said, we only hear this, this look, this heart, this Grace, this Presence and all that happens naturally, the awakening is a natural action of Grace.
If there is no question remaining right here, in this silence. Let's leave it by now.
